The Black Diamond Axis 33 is a 33 litre alpine day pack. This bag features everything you could possibly need and more. There is a zip top closure with a tuck away helmet holder and rope strap, PickPockets for your ice tools, a welded crampon patch, removable padded hipbelt and fixed webbing belt. The Axis 33 also come with the ergoACTIV suspension system for the ultimate in freedom of movement and stability, this is centred around a ball joint which attaches the hipbelt to the frame. In addition to this the shoulder straps have SwingArm technology which links the two straps together with a low friction cable at the bottom of the rucksack, this distributes the weight of the pack equally between your shoulders no matter what position you are in eliminating hot spots. Impressive stuff!
