Submited By: Andy UK on 25/01/2012 I would not recomend this pad.
The foam inside is of a very poor quality (like the foam that used to be put in kayaks from the 80's). The foam is not dense and has lots of air bubbles in it. The filling in my old Franklin pad was far superior to this and it was approx 1/3 the cost.
I have owned my Mondo for approx 5 months now and after falling off approx 20 times the foam started to go, it has lost now lost a lot of its rigidity and has the shock absorbsion of a piece of bubble wrap.
I think because of the air bubbles in the foam when you fall off it compresses and then it doesnt expand back out to its original shape.
Very poor!
