I don't think the rock shoes are the limiting factor.
I have found the Joker Plus to be even better, as comfortable and well fitting, but better on small edges and at smearing than the previous Jokers. Although I bought them for the wall they have been great for sea cliffs, multi-pitch and bouldering too. I do tend to use these a lot more than my Anasazi's purely out of comfort, but prefer the 5.10's for anything more close to my limit.
