The Boreal Lynx sits alongside the Kintaro in the Spanish company's range of high performance climbing shoes. The main difference between the two shoes is stiffness. The Lynx has a stiffer midsole which will probably give it the 'edge' (see what i did there) in certain situations. The softer Kintaro is probably more suited to bouldering and anything that involves nasty overhangs. You could say that the Boreal Lynx is to a Kintaro, what a La Sportiva Miura Lace is to a La Sportiva Miura VS. Both shoes use the super sticky Zenith rubber. For an insight into just how sticky this stuff is click on the video below this description.
Another nice feature is the new V2 Rand. Boreal have introduced a rubber strip between the upper heel and midsole which pulls the heel inwards resulting in a snugger fit.
The Lynx is a precise shoe with great versatility on both sport and trad climbs. - High quality Split leather with superadjustable
nylon tape lacing system.
- Integrated padded mesh tongue for comfort.
- Size 6 weighs 495g
