The Edelrid Lotse light belay device combines the advantages of several belay systems. The Lotse has two side notches, which ensure that you can 'block the rope' even when you have been feeding it out quickly. As you would expect from a good belay device, falls are not hard on the climber and are easy for the belayer to hold. Ideal for use when leaders are taking their time.
