Submited By: Edmund Aspbury on 03/12/2010 I wear size 7 trainers, I went for the same in the Bandits and the fit is great. I can wear them for quite a while but for me they're not for all day wear.
The lacing system is excellent and loosen up much better than the fiddly Boreal Aces I owned before, giving the precise fit of the laces but easy to get on and off.
The toe box is fantastic, quite precise considering they're not so aggressive, and performs well on micro-holds, for edging and toe-hooks. The heel is snug but the rubber on the heel is quite thin so heel hooks aren't the most comfortable for me.
The rubber is nice and grippy enabling confident smearing.
As other reviewers have also noted, the lining and the padded tongue mean that these shoes get rather sweaty build up quite a funk quite quickly (although this seems to be an occupational hazard for climbers).
For the price, an excellent all-rounder for beginners and intermediate climbers, or just a comfortable all-rounder to have in the bag.
Comes with a fetching go-faster stripe making you look awesomely cool which is of course, what climbing is all about.
