The precision of the toe makes them an ideal shoe for both routes and bouldering, and the security they offer for the foot in general makes them great for both overhanging problems and technical slabs. I bought mine a size too small primarily for bouldering and short overhanging routes and they really do the trick! The only downsides are that the heel can be a little loose when hooking because of the way that it is shaped, but again this is gives a real bonus for power through the toe. Also, the toes are perhaps not as durable as those of other aggresive shoes of this relative standard as mine wore through fairly quickly, (although having said this i did put in a lot of wear on them, climbing for long periods of time all day, everyday). I think another big aspect to take into account when buying this shoe is your foot shape; i can see the slender footed or long toed climber having problems.
None the less, a great all round shoe! I would say a step up from the slightly more expensive, great all-rounder, anasazi Five Ten.
