Five Ten Guide Tennie

In Stock Rating: of 5 Stars!

By popular demand Five Ten have brought back a low top Guide Tennie. This shoe can easily hike 10 miles into a climb, then ascend a 5.13 route. Having studied previous versions of their classic Guide shoes, Five Ten have created a new Guide Tennie that’s better fitting, better performing and better looking than ever. The last has a rocker, which makes walking efficient and comfortable making this a great choice for freerunners who need the added traction only Stealth® C4 rubber can provide.

Present for my partner, and he loves them. Dry feet, comfortable shoe, and has survived so far with use as a street shoe, approach shoe and occasional attempts at climbing. The problem with climbing is that he chose a comfortable size, so it's pretty rubbish as a climbing shoe. But hey, nothing can do everything. Highly recommended.

Brilliant shoe, the sizing is quite big and the shoe is bulkier than i expected. These were the only shoes I took with me to Font and i managed to top a few boulders in them. The shoe is abit pricey and I'm sure none of us would complain if they were abit cheaper. Overall, great shoe

Not as Robust as Camp 4's . Climb rubber split on the lateral side of shoe during Severe Multi pitch route on "Puig Campana". A Very comfortable shoe at a respectable price. Damage is Nothing that supper glue wont fix.

Good price, super quick delivery. The shoes are very good quality and a perfect fit, true to size. Haven't worn them for climbing yet but they are great for cycling! Quite a noticeable energy release in the spring bridge in the sole. The only negative for me is that the yellow colour is a bit more luminous than I was expecting. A lot of reviews I read complained about the sticky rubber soles being squeaky on hard floors....yes they are at first but that stops after a couple of days wear.

Great service from BananaFingers. I messed up the delivery address and they sent another pair out to me no questions asked! Five Ten Guide Tennie are great shoes. I had a pair of Five Ten Camp Four which took a lot of punishment, but when they eventually fell apart I wanted something more minimal, less cushioned, something you can really climb, scramble, or just run in. The Guide Tennie fits great, fits close and fits remarkably comfortably.

Hardly taken them off for last 4 days. All that they promised to be. Have been wanting a proper hybrid climbing/walking trainer for about 30 years. Did much better than anything else I've had as far as bouldering around Avon Gorge went. Stiff enough for support to run around Mendips. Cool enough to wear just about anywhere. Even the 15 year old wants a pair. Lose a star purely for black marks all over wooden floors. The price of sticky rubber?

Love these shoes. On my 4th pair now and always happy with them. Pretty rigid under foot for hiking into the crag, great for instructing and climbing in the easier grades. Quality on these is pretty good but I always burst the shoe next to my little toe behind the rubber toe rand which seems to be a recurring problem for a lot of people. The rubber wears pretty well unless your smacking tarmac all day. Off road they last quite a while. Usual peeling of the rubber at the heel but no problems with the toes. Super glue fixes all! Great shoes.
