Good things:
- Snug, soft heel
- Precise toe.
- Slight down turn, good for toeing in on steep ground.
- Laces for custom fit.
- Perferations on rand do seem to relieve some pressure off of the toes.
- Upper, with ridges has quite good friction but rubber would be better.
- VERY lightweight.
Bad things:
- Lack of rubber for toe-hooks.
- Unsure about durability of upper after multiple toe-hooks.
Also note that these shoes are reasonably soft. Slightly softer than a VCS and much softer than Verdes/Whites. This means the power comes from the foot a bit more and takes some getting used to on small edges.
They size closer to a dragon than an anasazi (I went half size down from my size in dragons) and also climb more like a dragon. Essentially a mix between a dragon (toe profile), Project (stiffness, but bit stiffer) and a anasazi LV (heel).
