Great shoes, especially at this price. Very soft & sensitive with super sticky rubber. Rubber Seems to last well too after 6mths use, mainly indoors. Lace design is a bit of a novelty, doesn't really add anything to the fit and I find hinders toe hooks a bit. Fit is very much like dragons, tad more forgiving due to the softness I guess. I sized down half a size from street for a tight but reasonably comfortable fit out the box.
Dragons are better.

Pros: Super grippy, ultra confident toe edge, good heel, great lace fitting
çons: No stretch, ultra thin rubber can be a bit painful…
i bought these small and they kill my feet due to no stretch in their synthetic makeup… too technical for most (me). I've only had them for a few months but no sign of easing up

Great climbing shoes! the only thing you have to know is they are very small,so if you usually go for size 5 you need to get one size or one and a half bigger! other wise brilliant!!!

Just bought these shoes, arrived this morning, put them on and they fitted as if they had my foot in mind when making them. the laces having the notches in hold the shoe even tighter. They hug my heel superbly, you won't regret buying these.

I only really do gym climbing. I climb once a week they have keep the rubber very well and no breaks in the stitching.
Size wise I've had a 9UK Evo Talons last time an I got a 9UK Hornet fits fine.
Things I like about the Five-Ten Hornet:
1. The laces have little bumps in them so they stay tight.
2. They are a lovely green colour.
3. Very low volume for small feet.
4. Very good toe area good for edging.
5. Soft sole to feel the rock.
6. Padded tong.
Not so good things.
1. the heal hook is good but there is a little dead zone (not sure if thats my foot)
2. That's it I cant really think of anything else.
Overall - 10/10 from me.

The best shoes i have had for hard and steep climbing.
Similar to the dragon but the lacing crushes the feet better.
Teamed up with miura they make the best combination

I love these shoes anyone who can afford to get them should buy them straight away, the hornets are down turned but are very soft which also being thin adds to its sensitivity the hornet has the same great heal from the dragons and the aggressive toe of the team shoe another good thing about the hornets is that they are one of the lightest shoes on the market and are amazingly comfortable for how down turned they are, the sizes are about 1 size smaller then compared to the anasazi verde im a size 5 in my anasazi verde and a 5 in hornets but my hornets feel like they are about a 4 so you might take that in mind when you are buying your shoes the hornets are the best shoes i have ever owned i would recommend them to any keen climber :P
