The La Sportiva Solution is a revolutionary rock shoe developed specifically for bouldering. Whatever technical problem the rock presents, the “Solution” rock shoe gives you the support you need with the most innovative technology to overcome the boulder move. The upper uses Lock Harness System® technology, which hugs the foot from the inside and combines with the unique deep heel-cups to ensure maximum flexibility when hooking, on incuts and overhangs. The La Sportiva Solution utilises the P3® (Permanent Power Platform) randing system, an active part of the shoe which gives it its versatility and works in synergy with the base of the foot to spread and maintain tension through time. The innovative Fast Lacing System® combined with the tongue in elasticized fabric ensures optimal adjustment of the internal volume.

I have only had one pair of solutions, and i still only have one pair of solutions. A very good shoe, but i have struggled to find constant use for them as of yet! Highly aggressive with the toe platform in the front for extra push! Very effective for steep bouldering, and steep climbing, but i struggle to find the actual need for them on vertical edges and slabs, when a shoe like the miura or katana would be in its element! Very comfortable when broken in, but i found them hard to put on and painful in my usual size of 39 (uk 6) as the heel bends in before it bends out! admittedly i wear them extremely tight, but this was a problem for me! Great for the steep, but im not sure id want them on a smeary slab!!!!

Awesome shoes, happy on most rock types - even slabs as they are super sensitive. Mega toe power and great stability. Comfort despite the agressive nature. Shame they never last as long as you would like :-)

Fantastic shoes - state of the art, comfortable, they stick to anything you put your foot on and they're great on the grit too!

gee wizz guys these shoes are amazing i was walking through camden market with them on and everyone looked at me these are some serious shoes for turning heads on the street and no one else seems to have dicovered these obviosly fashionable footwear solutions for getting out and about
