They stick to everything and even the smallest undulations feel massive underneath your feet. Amazing shoes... though i must add if you are jug-pulling down the local wall these are completely pointless! Save them for that V6 boulder problem that is just out of reach or that 7a+ project that is defeating you! Also the heel is really good great fit, great for doing routes were the heel is the key. although the price is more than I ever dreamed about paying for shoes, it was money well spent. Will be buying some more soon!! :) Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] by Steve Le Feuvre Date Added: Wednesday 24 November, 2010 For steep bouldering I can’t see shoes getting much better than this however I’ve used them on vertical and slightly overhanging trad with no complaints. Although they have a very aggressive fit and down turned toe, which delivers all the power you have to the rock, they remain comfortable. I wear a size 10 street shoe and usually get rock shoes in size ~8. For the solution however I bought a 7.5 and will get a 7, if not smaller, the next time (and I will be getting another pair)! The fastening system locks the foot in place well and releases fast, leaving the only down side as the price. Which is why I’ve given them 4 and not a 5.
