This is the perfect belay carabiner in my opinion. Great symmetrical shape works with single and double ropes. Nice smooth edge for ropes to run past and the red screw-lock indicator is great when you're half way up the climb and have a mild panic about whether you did the gate up properly.

Love these krabs !! They are smooth, reliable and idiot proof with the red saftey marker, all you have to do is have a quick glance down and you can instantly tell wether the krab is locked or not.

Really rate the Petzl gear! A krab is normally a krab, however the Petzl stuff is easy to handle, smart looking and unlike other hardware you come across little handy features. For example; After buying this 'Locker Screw Lock' and also the 'Attache Screw Lock' I find myself glancing down checking my belay setup and easily detecting if the gate is screwed or not due to the fact they have a bright (red) band on the gate which is only visible when the gate is not screwed up. Cool.
