The Petzl Elios is a low profile helmet which is easy to adjust, comfortable and well-ventilated. The improved dial adjustment system is quick and easy to use, even when wearing the helmet. Using a combination of shell and foam technology, it's perfect for rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, canyoning and caving.

Injection molded polycarbonate shell for protection and durability.
Expanded polypropylene liner absorbs impacts.
Adjustable chinstrap, nape height and headband for an extremely comfortable fit.
Easy-to-use molded adjustment wheel quickly dials in the headband size, even while the helmet is being worn.
Chin strap position adjusts forward or backward and redesigned side-release chin strap buckle is positioned off to the side for comfort.
Narrow polyester webbing straps offer improved comfort.
Secure headlamp attachment with 4 optimally placed clips.
Compatible with VIZION face shield.

bought the petzyl elios from banana fingers and was amazed firstly by the great service they provide would highly reccomend using them,as for helmet, a great buy extremely comfy and light but still gives the feeling of maximum protection whilst climbing or belaying highly reccomended

Bought this helmet for my son for his 7th birthday, great value helmet that still feels a solid product. Easy to adjust for him and even though i got him the largest size and its near the bottom limit of its adjustment it still sits nicely on his head without restricting his view or feeling uncomfrotable. As usual BF processed my order quickly and it arrived straight away making sure he had it in plently of time for his birthday. This helmet will last him for many years and if he decides to develop it already has catches in place for a head torch meaning once less expense.

Top quality helmet, just as good, if not better than the ecrin roc. Very useful feature having the headlamp clips already mounted instead of having to buy additional ones from Petzl. Really lightweight and comfortable - definately recommend to anyone (also possibly the best price on the market at the moment).

Although one of the cheaper helmets available I was presently surprised to find that the Elios is light and comfortable (I was worried it would be more like a bike helmet!). I have worn the helmet a few times now, once for eight hours straight with no problems or discomfort. My head gets a little warm but I am sure even the most expensive head gear can't stop that. When belaying and climbing the helmet does not come into my field of vision and is nice and compact on the head. I've not had any falls yet but have knocked it a few times on roofs and boulders with no discomfort. Impacts hardly leave a scratch.
