The price is for a 1m length of cord, simply alter the quantity in your shopping cart for the desired length. All cord is cut with a hot knife to re-seal the ends. If you would like several different lengths just write your requirements into the notes during checkout.

All Tendon Accessory Cord fulfills the major requirements imposed upon such a product by CSN EN 564. These guide lines are highlighted below along with a table of Tendon Accessory Cord Specifications:

• the diameters shall range from 4 mm to 8 mm
• the minimum strength shall amount to 200 N/mm² of the section
• the nominal diameter and rupture strength are given in the table below

Note.: 1 daN corresponds to the carrying capacity of approximately 1 kg (exactly 0.981 kg)

Important Notice:
Accessory cords are frequently used with prusiking. Because the sheath of the cords is relatively weak, it has to be continually checked whether the sling is not getting damaged - worn-through - due to its continual displacement along the rope. Any sign of damage means that the prusiking knot has to be re-fastened in such a way as to ensure that the non-disturbed surface of the rope gets into contact with the rope at all times. If the core is sneaking out of the sheath, the disturbed portion of the cord has to be cut off, or the cord should be preferably discarded.
As well as the ropes, the material of the accessory cords is subject to aging. We recommended that the cord be replaced after 5 years of service.
