The Tendon Ambition 10.0 is the perfect rope for the intermediate climber. The rope is thin enough so that it doesnt feel too heavy but is thick enough to keep it handling well. All of the Tendon Ambition ropes are constructed with their Single Braid System (SBS) which means that every strand of the sheath is individually braided (most ropes braid pairs of strands), this makes for a rope which is smoother to handle and has an increased resistance to wear. We are also stocking the Ambition 10.0 with the Complete Shield treatment. This process is unique to Tendon ropes under the DuPont™ fabric protector licence for Teflon® nanotechnology. During the Complete Shield application the yarns and sheaths of the rope are impregnated with tiny Teflon particles for an increased protection from water and grit intrusion meaning that your rope will last longer.
