The Tendon Master range is top-dog in the Tendon collection. These extremely light ropes, which have a small diameter and low weight are intended for daily use on artificial climbing walls, for the toughest sports climbing and for extreme ascents in the mountains. We supply the 9.7mm Master with the Standard finish gives good water and abrasion resistance.
The 9.7mm Master also makes use of the Tendon SBS braiding system, whereby every strand of the sheath is braided individually, not as a pair which is normal. This creates ropes which are more wear-resistant and smoother to handle. Special “Tendon Compact” system is used for terminating the rope ends. Core and sheath are interconnected as one to prevent sheath slip. As you might expect this rope is mid-point marked. So, in summary the Tendon Master 9.7mm is a top-class single rope with low weight and SBS sheath construction that combines both increased resistance to abrasion, and great handling qualities.
