As with my beastmaker, I put in a hell of a lot of research time looking for the best possible harness for my money. Although the elite ziplock does come in at the higher end of the spectrum for cost, dont be fooled; its worth every penny! This is the most secure and comfortable I have felt wearing any harness. The padding in both the belt and thigh loops is thick and makes wearing the harness a pleasure; you know its there but never in a bad way. Sure it's not the lightest, but unless your at a level where shedding those extra grams is going to really mean something - get this harness! On a side note, this harness does not cause the trauma to the nether regions that some cheaper (and even more expensive ones) do when you experience a high fall. Not sure how it avoids it but its a massive improvement on my old black diamond blizzard!
