The Wild Country Elite Ziplock Adjustable Womens maintains the same great womens fit but gets a fresh new look. It has been designed specifically for the female form through the use of a longer rise (the distance from the waist belt to the top of the thigh) and a greater leg loop to waist size ratio. The batwing shaped waist belt has also received a bit of a tweak to fit just that little bit better and has a 'Comfort Mesh' inner to keep it super smooth. Getting the harness on and adjusting the fit is simple and quick due to the use of Ziplock buckles on both the waist and leg loops. In summary it is a perfect for the serious female climber who is looking for an all season harness with comfort and a great fit.

Had to return this several times to get the right size but BananaFingers were most helpful with this. I am a size 10 waist so figured the XS would be okay but the tie in loop was almost to the side. After trying the small first I found the medium to be the best fit. With just a t-shirt on I have to tighten to its fullest but the tie in loop sits pretty central. I don't have any experience of other harnesses so really studied reviews and I have no disappointment at all with the selection of my first harness.

This harness had its first trip out today, sea-cliff climbing in Pembrokeshire all day. It is without a doubt the comfiest harness I've ever worn, which was especially helpful during a hanging belay. It has 5 nice placed gear loops which is just right for me, plus the haul loop and accessory clip. Fully adjustable means it was great over a few layers today (a sunny but chilly January day) but will be just as good come the warmer summer months. Practically and function should obviously always win over appearances but that said, this is a attractive looking harness with deep purple leg loops and waist (sadly not shown in the front photo here). Also like the 'wear indicator' on the belay loop of these newer harnesses.

Wow! I ordered this harness and it arrived the next day! It fits really well and feels comfortable, I've already tried it indoor climbing! Can't wait to take it outdoor climbing at the weekend.
