Exceptional pieces of equipment! Despite their lightweight look and feel, they are really very durable. I initially bought them thinking that they would be fairly specialised pieces of equipment that I wouldn’t use regularly, but they have ended up being on my harness for every trad climb in the last 2 years! They are just like standard rocks that have been sliced in half, reducing their weight and with a loss in strength, but with a huge increase in versatility. It really is like having 2 very different placement options for each nut, one regular sized and one micro/small nut sized. These have been great for slate, limestone and peg cracks such as those found in quarries like millstone in the peak district. Whilst I don’t feel like these will replace most climbers standard set of rocks on their rack, they are a really good special addition that may get you out of trouble when you just cant find something to fit in that awkward crack! A little expensive and specialised, but for me absolutely priceless!
