Love these shoes, supper sticky on everything apart from damp grass. Took them indoor bouldering and was impressed by their performance, its like wearing supper comfortable climbing shoes. The laces go more or less right to the toe which makes getting comfortable fit easier. Got the Approach Pro over Approach mainly for heal reinforcement in the hope of better climbing performance. It does seem to help prevent the heal slipping out on more challenging terrain.

For a comfortable fit would recommend dropping half a size from your regular shoes. For snug fit with best climbing/scrambling performance without completely wrecking daily comfort, go full size below. I usually wear size 8 converse and was happy with Approach Pro in size 7.

I'm really enjoying these! Bought to replace a pair of original guide tennies (not impressed with the new tennie), they feel much truer to the old design; dotty stealth, thin foam sole (still pretty rigid at the front for edging) and no clumpy plastic heel. The laces go all the way to the toes and the fit is snug with plenty of feedback on the rock.
Highly recommended if you're after something with a bit more feel than the heavier approach options.
