Have used these over the last ten years. Ive found them to be ok, they seem to sit very nicely in placements, definitely better than the old skool WC rocks as they are tapered.

Two negatives:

-They do seem to be very heavy compared to the competition.

-Floppy (maybe due to weight of the 'nut end')

The floppyness dosnt matter so much but it does make handling a little tricky, especally from size 8 upwards. I dont know if its because the nut end is too heavy, of because the wire just isnt as rigid as others.

Personally, id go for the DMM walnuts, i have a few of them in the bigger sizes and they are way lighter, and the wire is very firm, enabling you to more easily place the wire whilst holding the loop end.

All in all, they are ok, but if i could justify spending on a set of DMM's (that i dont really need because ive got these), i would just get the Walnuts. I also beleive that the walnuts are rated stronger than the BD's, but dont quote me on that.

Pricey but so worth it. Had previously used wild county classics.
