When you wear climbing shoes without socks its inevitable that your boots are going to get sweaty and smelly. Slide some Boot Bananas into your shoes after a session and they will help to absorb moisture and prevent bad odours. They are best used from the start of your climbing shoes life for optimum results but they will also stop your existing shoes from getting worse.
The cotton fabric used has the porosity to absorb moisture but if your shoes are really sweaty you can shake your bananas to release a fine mist of powder to speed up the drying process.
You will be able to tell when your Boot Bananas are ready to be replaced because they slowly turn brown the more they are used, when entirely brown your Boot Bananas are saturated and need to be replaced.
Boot Bananas are handmade in the UK and contain all natural ingredents: sodium bicarbonate, bamboo charcoal, zeolite, dried lavender flowers and lemon, lavender & tea tree essential oils.

Details

  • One pack contains 2 bananas.

  • All Boot Bananas are sold as pairs linked together with a handy carabiner clip.

Might even be better than real Bananas

These do exactly what the say, I bought a pair as a present for my climbing partner back when he finally bought new shoes. thank god, you could smell his old ones even whilst he was wearing them!! Now after a year of use his shoes still smell pretty damn fresh. My nose is eternally thankful!

smells nice, and my shoes don't stink

my old climbing shoes absolutely reeked, despite trying all sorts of various sprays and things over the years. when it came to buying some new shoes, i heard good things about these boot bananas and figured i'd give them a go to try to prevent the reek from the very start. they're not overly strong-smelling, although i do find the lavender a little overpowering (i've never been a massive fan of that particular smell, though). they're a lot heavier than i thought they would be, too. size-wise, they slip inside my climbing shoes perfectly and the supplied 'biner keeps them all together very nicely. so far, the shoes don't smell at all so they seem to be doing their job just fine..

Good product

Really helpful for keeping climbing shoe dry after a long session. Help to keep new shoes smelling fresh for longer.
