The Evolv Agro is one of the most highly anticipated high end bouldering shoes of 2017.

For sensitivity it has a tensioned thin rubber midsole. This is combined with fairly substantial rubber coverage over the toes and shoe upper to help with aggresive toe hooks.

Evolv have developed a tensioning system that they call TPS (Tension Power System) which pulls the forefront of the shoe into a downturned power position from 3 different angles. This new tensioning system is designed to be resilient to ths stresses you put through the shoe, enabling it to remain its shape over time.

Finally the new cinch, single-pull closure system is designed to provide a hassle free yet supportive fit, helping you to save time and minmise deadspace. The straps have a fairly low profile and the buckles are positioned out of the way to stop any interference when toe hooking.

Plus they look dope.

How I choose the correct size?

All climbing shoe models fit differently. We put together our 'shoeculator' to help you find the right size in a new model, compared to your old climbing shoes or street shoes.

Choose from the options below to find your size in the Evolv Agro
Climbing Shoe
or
Street Shoe

This sizing advice is based on two pairs of brand new shoes. Leather shoes tend to stretch more than synthetic shoes. When switching from synthetic to leather you may want to select a smaller size.

Long break in period but really good after

After taking a good 2 - 3 weeks to break in these have been the best shoes I've owned, I've just ordered my second pair. Overall these are an amazing shoe and I'd recommend them to anyone wanting an soft, aggressive shoe!

Probably one of the best (soft) toes I've ever experienced. Still waiting for these to break in fully. Evolv seem to have followed the trend of much harder heel rubber and a narrower last. Disappointed to loose heel sensitivity but the extra stability isn't unappreciated.

Still not as comfortable for me as the shamans and I think in the long run might be replaced by the shakras purely based on the heel/last. I see these as just a narrower (much) softer, improved version of the nexxos (I hope the heel ends up being a lot better in the long run though).
