Five-Ten have undertaken total redesign of the famed Dragon. With its radically down-turned toe, the Five-Ten Dragon is the darling of steep-climbing troglodytes everywhere with a downtruned profile to really dig into foot holds on overhangs. Replacing hook-and-loop closure with laces secures the foot for maximum power through the toe and in heel-hooking. Stealth HF rubber on the outsole is the perfect combination of power and friction for steep climbing, whilst the highly asymmetric last will ensure precision and sensitivity in abundance. A combinaton of a synthetic upper and lined inner means there will be little stretch over time and more comfortable 'from the box' fit, however please bear in mind that these are highly aggressive and asymmetric so they will never be an all day trad shoe.

Details:

- Stealth HF rubber outsole (3.5mm)
- Synthetic upper, no stretch
- Low-profile toe box
- Lace closure system
- Stiffness: Medium
- Last: High asymmetry
- Lined

Suited to:
- Overhangs
- Bouldering

How I choose the correct size?

All climbing shoe models fit differently. We put together our 'shoeculator' to help you find the right size in a new model, compared to your old climbing shoes or street shoes.

Choose from the options below to find your size in the Five-Ten Dragon
Climbing Shoe
or
Street Shoe

This sizing advice is based on two pairs of brand new shoes. Leather shoes tend to stretch more than synthetic shoes. When switching from synthetic to leather you may want to select a smaller size.

Brilliant at edging and have a heel that fits like a glove. I ordered these shoes and read a lot of reviews that said the heel is baggy, I have found that the heel is great and sticks to just about everything (other than ridiculously polished limestone but even then they stuck most of the time). I would 100% buy these shoes again as they are just so good, well done five ten

Great shoes on my 3rd pair and they r just the right shoe for me. There is only one bad thing i could think of which is if you don't get them small enough there is a lot of dead space in the hell and they flatting out over time.

It's my fifth pair of these shoes and they are great. The rubber is super sticky and it just sticks to anything. At first I didn't think hear shoes would be that good on technical verticals climbs, but actually they're great.
There's only one downside and that is that they aren't the comfiest type of climbing shoe. But I mainly do bouldering so it's easy just slip them on and off between climbs.

Really, really good shoe if you want precise edging and incredible overhanging capabilities, the toe is insanely precise but beware if you are a beginner getting these shoes then the toe will be painful when climbing on small holds. I bought a size 9 (street size 8) and the fit is perfect. The heel on this shoe is also amazing I can heel hook pockets with this. Get this shoe.
- Best uses, Hard bouldering, hard lead (overhanging) but also performs very well on vertical and slab climbs.

Well what an awesome shoe fits like a sock, sticks like glue, so basically does what is say on the tin. I'm now braking in my second and buying a third pair but as most climbers know the glass slipper has to fit your foot, in my case the dragons do(street size). I find the toe box snug n comfy once moulded to your foot, the heel I have a bit of space which makes it a tad squidgy took a while to get use to, after la sportiva's solid heels with no sensitivity but once again prefer it. It fits and shapes itself to small heel hooks and the toe rand rubber just seems to be there where you need it. So yeah plenty of nice sends done in these bad boys and trust them no end.. love getting new pistols and having super sharp edges!!
