Hiangle Pro

With the new wave of modern bouldering well and truly here, new age competition style blocs now feature at a huge percentage of our indoor walls. To keep us up with this on going change, softer designs and revised versions of shoes seem to pop up frequently, to help us stay with the times and assure we have the best tools on our feet to conquer any style of climb. With Five-Ten, things are no different.
Built on the same the last as the widely renowned and timeless Five-Ten Hiangle, The Hiangle Pro's heavily down-turned shape is built from the same materials as the classic version and features an un-lined microfibre construction, to assure the shoe retains its shape and provides as much support as possible. Its heel has been revised and improved to live up to the current demands of indoor bouldering, the outsole does not wrap up over the now rounder heel cup, to prevent a built-up heel pushing you away from the climbing surface when heel-hooking.
By no means does this mean that the Hiangle Pro does not perform whilst sport climbing or climbing outside. It's front and side edges provide the perfect tool for small and persnickety footholds, whilst the inside edge remains rounded up into the rand. The rubber goes from a 3.5mm edge to a 2.1mm thickness at the top of the wrap-around, which blends into the toe rubber, providing accuracy and sensitivity when placing your foot.
It's obvious the Pro is out to take the competition scene by storm, every feature has been tirelessly thought through and designed to provide a shoe that covers a wide range of climbing needs, whilst retaining its comfort and value for money. From its high tensile upper to its super-sticky Stealth C4® rubber, the Hiangle Pro goes above and beyond what a standard shoe can offer. It's stronger stabilizing sole construction provides added performance when up against the most demanding and athletic climbing moves, whilst the Stealth C4® rubber assures your feet stay exactly where you placed them.
Worn by the world's best on some of the most inspiring blocs. The new Hiangle Pro from Five-Ten excels on both man-made terrain, or that of the natural world. Whether it's steep or slab, volume or crag, the Hiangle Pro is the vehicle that will help channel your climbing into the next level.

How I choose the correct size?

All climbing shoe models fit differently. We put together our 'shoeculator' to help you find the right size in a new model, compared to your old climbing shoes or street shoes.

Choose from the options below to find your size in the Five-Ten Hiangle Pro
Climbing Shoe
or
Street Shoe

This sizing advice is based on two pairs of brand new shoes. Leather shoes tend to stretch more than synthetic shoes. When switching from synthetic to leather you may want to select a smaller size.

Team 2.0

Feeling is between the hiangle and the black Team 5.10 model - soft enough to flex and pull down with your toes, supportive enough to hang out standing on holds. Sizing the same as the white hiangles, fit was very tight to get on at first but opened up after the first couple of sessions to be an easy on/off shoe.
