How I choose the correct size?

All climbing shoe models fit differently. We put together our 'shoeculator' to help you find the right size in a new model, compared to your old climbing shoes or street shoes.

Choose from the options below to find your size in the Five-Ten NIAD Moccasym
Climbing Shoe
or
Street Shoe

This sizing advice is based on two pairs of brand new shoes. Leather shoes tend to stretch more than synthetic shoes. When switching from synthetic to leather you may want to select a smaller size.

Sizing information!

I’m not going to give a performance review of these shoes, but a help with sizing. I’m a UK street size 9, but have quite sensitive big toe nails that have a tendency to dig in. Due to recommendations I sized down to 8, but this was a total failure. There was no way in hell I was going to get size 8’s on. It wasn’t that I was got them on but it was too tight, I absolutely couldn’t get them on my feet. So I went up to a UK size 9, (so I’m 1 for 1 with my street size). This is still an extremely ‘competitive’ fit. It took me several minutes to get both shoes on for the first time. Once actually on, they feel very tight but not painfully so.

In line with other 5.10’s I own. Bang on street size is a very tight fit and perhaps not for everybody.
