The La Sportiva Skwama is a high end, mid-stiffness performance shoe which used the P3 midsole technology to keep the aggressive profile of the shoe over its lifetime. How I choose the correct size?

All climbing shoe models fit differently. We put together our 'shoeculator' to help you find the right size in a new model, compared to your old climbing shoes or street shoes.

Choose from the options below to find your size in the La Sportiva Skwama
Climbing Shoe
or
Street Shoe

This sizing advice is based on two pairs of brand new shoes. Leather shoes tend to stretch more than synthetic shoes. When switching from synthetic to leather you may want to select a smaller size.

Was unsure on which size to buy coming from Scarpa's, wearing a 43 vapour v and instinct. Decided to go for 41.5 with the anticipation of stretch, (Note i do like an aggressive fit) they are now perfect but is some variation within a size so compare in the store to be sure!
Originally the shoes were crippling, I could hardly walk in them let alone climb for more than 2 boulder problems.
After 2/3 weeks and an especially sweaty session the shoes stretched out perfectly. They are now way more comfortable than my Scarpa's ever were . The grip 2 rubber is amazing but does wear out very quickly, will be buying another set for outdoor only and keeping my current pair as a hack set for indoor!

I was a Scarpa man but I came to the conclusion, after looking how messed up and deformed my feet were getting, that I needed something a bit more comfy. So I opted for these and I am a convert. They are super soft, so for bouldering they are a dream and they are so comfy you could even wear them on trad. With the sportiva quality you can also expect them to last well, I have been wearing them for five months climbing outdoors four times a week and once indoors and they are lasting better than my scarpas used to.

An amazing shoe, does everything!!! ive been expecting to fall off slabs but found myself staying on the wall because these grip beyond what you would expect. Will probably never use another shoe!!!!
Only problem is that my heel does not fit the heel of the shoe perfectly. even so the heel hooking ability of this shoe is so great that it doesnt even matter.
Whatever climbing you are doing this is the ultimate shoe!!! There's a reason all the french team and so many other professional climbers are wearing them.

I have used the Skwama for a little over a month now. It has a perfect fit on my wide-long second toe foot. I use 42,5 in everyday shoes and take this in 39-39,5.
The shoe has great toe flex for toehooks and smears yet also support on small edges. I never liked the Solution but this shoe has much more power in the toebox.
Heelhooking is comfortable but misses the precision of a 5.10 Dragon. On macroes or font slopers it is perfect.
The most noticeable ability in this shoe is oldschool highsteps. You are able to put more power on round footplacements even at chest height.
