Ocun have designed two version of their velcro fastened performance shoe, the 'Ozone'. This is the standard Ozone, which has a low-volume suitable for narrow feet. If you are aware that you have a particularly broad foot shape, but still want a high level shoe, take a look at the Ozone Plus.
The Ocun Ozone is built on a highly asymmetric last, much like La Sportiva's Miura VS. Whereas this shape does not suit everyone, if you have a egyptian style toes (see the image to the right) then this design should be optimal for both sensitivity and power. The Ozone is mildly downturned, which comes in useful on overhangs.
We found the Ozone to have a snug, comfortable fit with minimal deadspace. This fit, combined with the Vibram XS-Grip rubber, ensures that the Ozone is both precise and reliable on tiny footholds.
If you have narrow feet, and are looking for a reasonably priced high performance shoe then the Ozone is a winning bet. Wide feet? Try the Ozone Plus!
