This sizing advice is based on two pairs of brand new shoes. Leather shoes tend to stretch
more than synthetic shoes. When switching from synthetic to leather you may want to select a smaller size.
The Red Chili Voltage is a lace version of the Voltage 2, with the same last so it fits the same but with greater stiffness. The Voltage lace has a high downturn for steep climbing and bouldering, but with a low asymmetry to minimise foot discomfort. With this in mind the Voltage is ideal for longer climbs but will work for any climber seeking performance with comfort. The greater stiffness makes this shoe great at standing on tiny edges, but it still has enough flex for contact on volumes and slabs. With a leather footbed and asymmetical lacing you can custom fir this shoe to your foot shape. If you are looking for a high-performance lace shoe with a really good fit and support for hard, steep sends, look no further.
