This sizing advice is based on two pairs of brand new shoes. Leather shoes tend to stretch
more than synthetic shoes. When switching from synthetic to leather you may want to select a smaller size.
Unparallel has been set up by former Five Ten employees, as such they have a great knowledge of shoe design and manufacture in every aspect from rubber to last shapes. As such the Unparallel Regulus is incredibly similar to the Five Ten Hiangle Synthetic in terms of shape and stiffness. This means you will get a shoe with medium stiffness, a moderately aggressive profile and a small amount of asymmetry making for a great all round sport or bouldering shoe which can be worn in realtive amount of comfort compared to other high end shoes.
As you would expect, any team involved in Stealth rubber creation is going to know a thing or two about the subject. Unparallel use a range of rubber compounds across their range of shoes, with the Regulus using the 'Real Honor' rubber for the outsole. This is their hardest compound for excellent support on small edges and micro footholds. The RH rubber is extended over the toe box to provide friction for toe hooks and the high tension heel pushes power towards the toes and also gives a secure heel fit for heel hooks.
