The Grivel Jorasses 2.0 is the preferred companion for expert mountaineers. The one-piece forged head and G-Bone shaft makes the Jorasses 2.0 a technical ice axe for mountaineering. The head with hot-forged pick and blade are light in design, but made of forged steel, making the it incredibly strong and giving a reliable "bite" in the hardest ice. When every stroke has to sit in the hard ice there is no room for error. The curvature of the blade allows a very effective swing, easy penetration and extraction from the ice. The very resistant G-bone aluminum shaft guarantees excellent ergonomic grip along the entire shaft. It comes here with Grivel's innovative Easy slider system, which slides along the handle acting as a good handhold for steep ice sections with a rubber handle for great grip and elastic webbing for securing your partner to your harness. Furthermore, the shovel/adze is useful for digging/snow bollard anchor or footsteps....and it looks great!
