The cut is athletic, fitting comfortably under outer layers and a harness, and the hood fits under a helmet without any bulk. The hem and cuffs are made from stretchy and quick-drying polyester that trap warm air yet push up easily to dump heat quickly. The jacket features three pockets, a chest zipper pocket and two zip-up hand-warming pockets, a fully opening central zip that seals in warmth, pulling the neck high with a chafe free zip guard at the chin.
