Gunks Bouldering
Just 2 hours north of New York there is a climbing heaven called the Gunks, it has amazing roped climbing but it also has incredible bouldering, this guide covers the bouldering in the Trapps, Near Trapps, and Peter's Kill, areas in the Gunks. It has all the hard classic boulders as well as loads of newly developed boulders grading from very easy to hard, a lot of the boulders have very flat landings because they rise directly from the carriage roads, this provides nice and easy approaches to the majority of boulders in the area.
