The Beal Booster III - Dry Cover is compact, easy-running and ultra-light, this, the pioneer of thin ropes slides in everywhere. It offers excellent strength for very experienced climbers. A good compromise between weight, free-running, grip and strength with a low impact force and increased number of falls held. Each individual sheath strand has had the Dry Cover treatment which offers many benefits such as increased dust and water resistance and limited water absorption to improve durabilty. It also makes for smoother running of the rope through carabiners and quickdraws for less drag. A Thermo Fluid treatment is also used to stabilise the yarns to make them more homogenous, this provides a more compact and better handling rope. Finally, Booster III is made with a Unicore process whereby the sheath and core of the rope are bonded. In the event of the sheath being cut this means the 2 components of the rope remain together rather than them splitting apart and the sheath slipping the length of the rope.

Key Features:

• A good compromise between weight, suppleness, feel, strength.
• Low impact force.
• High number of falls.

great rope at a great price. easy to pull up on difficult sport climbs and plenty long enough for everything I'll be doing. Nice to have it a bit thinner, but still feels very trustable. It didn't come with a bag (I had half expected one given reviews of Beal ropes by other people) but for the price that's not an issue. As always, Banana Fingers delivered it very quickly. No complaints whatsoever!

Excellent rope, smooth and doesn't get tangled up. Despite being 70m long, this rope is lightweight and is excellent for sport climbing. Like all beal ropes, the bag it comes in can be used as a rope bag with tarp for tying the rope in. Excellent dynamic stretching and impact force allows for a cushioned and comfortable fall should you happen to take one. All in all, an excellent rope at a great price.

Bananafingers had the best price I could find, and provided a nice quick delivery, just in time for my trip to Spain.

Very happy with my choice, it's good to have the extra 10m (60m ropes being standard). The rope is nice and compliant and the diameter fits my belay device perfectly, and its not so thin it feels unsafe on a single rope. I ended up buying the Beal twin ropes shortly after for trad climbing and I’m really happy with them too..
