High-level results and a record number of falls for its diameter, the Beal Top Gun II is one of the most impressive ropes on the market. The figures speak for themselves: 11 falls, 68 g/m, 7,4 kN impact force.

STRONGS POINTS :
• The perfect rope to climb with in total serenity.
• Low impact force + very high number of falls.

The Beal Top Gun II is now made with Unicore Technology. The UniCore process joins the rope core to the sheath without affecting handling or flexibility. This eliminates slip even in the worst conditions (e.g. top roping or active belaying). If the sheath becomes torn or cut, the core and sheath will remain bonded so that the climber can pass the damaged section and doesnt become stuck. The advantages of a UniCore rope include:

• Sheath slippage elimination.
• Allows safe escape should the sheath be cut.
• Makes rope cutting easy with a simple blade without any heating.
• Reduction of shrinkage in water by more than 50 %.

PERFORMANCE
• Single rope - UIAA - CE
• Number of bobbins48
• Weight per metter68 g
• Impact force Laboratory 7.35-7.40 kN
• Impact force BEAL Guaranty 7.40 kN

Excellent rope. A little stiffer than other ropes I've had but very nice to use and a very reassuring fall factor. Thoroughly recommended.

I am very impressed with the helpfulness of Banana Fingers staff. I told them my requirements and they explained the differences between the ropes and recommended a few so that I could make an educated choice. I then wanted to buy a rope at a length they didn't sell, Banana Fingers staff made it happen. They really went out of their way for me. Emails were prompt as was delivery.

The rope I ordered was Orange, there is a lot of purple stitching on the rope and the effect of this is the rope looks Pink. None the less there's no chance of misplacing it, and less chance of someone stealing a bright Pink rope haha. The rope is very good, it is easy to grip and doesn't cut into my hands. I have only used it for scrambling and down climbing and it is ideal for my purposes. I got the Golden Dry treatment so that I can use it hillwalking in snow without damaging the rope.

I bought this rope to teach my girlfriend how to climb indoors. I'ts more than long enough at 60m. It will make a great outdoor top-rope when the weather gets better!
It's also a great sports climbing rope. The 10.5mm gauge is ideal, and gives good friction on belay devices.
Overall it's a great single rope! Would recomend! Go for the 50m though if your only going to use it indoors!
