My bag arrived today, ordered yesterday, great service from banana fingers as always...

The bag is great decent size and well made zips are smooth and i like having the shoe dividers, all my gear fit with space to spare chalk bucket included, front zip for keeping the guidbood and tablet handy and the right shape to fold into my moon crash pad... awesome

Never purchased and Moon equipment but i do have to admit I'm amazed with how quickly my purchases arrived and how useful the bag is, I'm overwelmed with the size and I'm absolutely loving the shoe pouches.
As for the shoulder to backpack strap, it took me about 10 mins to realise how to change them over, but i got there eventually and I honestly think thats a clever idea.
I will defiantly purchase more Moon gear in the future!

This bag is an excellent size with several pockets to be able to store items for the day separatly. It is strong and well made. Very pleased

Nice basic bag. Really a courier style bag with a large single central opening and some very thin padding for the rucksack 'back'. There is another small inside pocket like the one you can see on the front (unfortunately no images of the inside on the web). But unlike courier bags, this one is really closed when zipped up. The same carrying strap (with a little padding) is used for rucksack or shoulder bag style - and it's too long for the latter (if you are under 2.50m). Lightweight and practical. Medium size ca. 21L. Reasonable prize.

Moon kit is awesome, it is designed from the ground up to be used by climbers and this neat bag is no exception. I got the boulder bag in the camo colour which is the nuts, the Moon logo appears in the camo pattern which is a neat touch.

The bag can be worn over a shoulder or as a backpack. As it is designed for boulderers, who will likely be carrying a boulder pad on their back, then the default setting wil likely be over a shoulder.

At a guess I reckon the bag is about 25 litres in size, a perfect size for bouldering. The main patch is accessed by a zip and inside there is a sectioned off area for your rock shoes, beside this there is space for a water bottle, jacket, gloves, snacks etc. on one wall of the main compartment is a mesh zip pouch which is good for ape, fold up scissors and power bars. There is also some pen slots which of course are used for your lapis brush and old toothbrushes.

Out front there is small zipped compartment, I use this for a first aid kit and also throw in my mobile and keys. Above this compartment is the roll top chalk bag pouch. Excellent idea keeping this separate as it stops chalk coating all off your kit. The chalk pouch goes the full depth of the bag and, with a little judicious packing, an easily take a boulder bucket. My pouch has a Snap boulder bucket and a Mammut chalk bag. There is Velcro on the flap and it rolls down tight to be held by the metal clips.

In use this bag just works, when I reach my local crag I take the boulder bucket out and then the boulder bag sits neatly when I open it, all of my kit is easily accessible, the shoes are held in place really well.

All told, this is a very clever bit of kit for the boulderer to use and it can also function well as an everyday backpack. Recommended.
