Tommy Caldwell Eco Dry CT 9.3mm

$205.20

Edelrid have worked with professional climber and big-wall extraordinaire Tommy Caldwell before, and if you didn't know, this guy knows his way around a climbing rope. Now the pair have teamed up again in the inception of their new coming, the Eco Dry CT.
Lightweight and durable, the Eco Dry CT has more features than you shake a clip-stick at. Ideal for big-walling and demanding routes, the Eco-Dry CT features 'ColorTec', a technology that creates a clearly recognizable change in colour between the two halves of the rope and therefor a thoroughly recognizable centre-mark.
Alongside this, thanks to it being braided with an exceptional machine at the Edelrid factory with 48 bobbins, the Eco-Dry CT has a particularly fine sheath structure that offers superior handling capabilities and movement through your belay and gear, whilst being extremely abrasion resistant despite its performance-based thin diameter and weight.
The Portaledge has never looked so organised due to its 3D lap -coiling technology, that keeps the rope from twisting and assures that it can be used straight out of your rope-bag. Its durability and robustness needs no questioning, Edelrid have utilised their 'PFCfree Eco Dry' finish with this rope, this provides a long-lasting water-repellent and dirt-resistant quality that has been tested, and according to the UIAA WaterRepellent test, water absorbtion in the Eco Dry CT is less than 2%.
We all want to be a little bit like Tommy, you may not climb as hard as him but who cares, you'll have a super trendy rope and you'll feel like a pro whatever grade your climbing.
